An enterprising community of Benedictine nuns and their team of lay staff embrace trade,tourism and ecology as they battle through the seasons to save their iconic monastery and preserve a 1500 year old way of life. Alongside their life of prayer, the nuns turn to soap and chocolate-making, forestry and farming, web design and mail orders, to draw tourists and recruits to the jewel of Connemara.
